Short trip

Yesterday morning, i woke u early to go to Malacca to pay my respects to ancestors.
Today i am going to pay my respect to my grandfather, which till now i still don't know if he is still alive. He went missing when i was quite young. But now we think he might be dead. it is a once in a year thing that allows my family to really spent time and remember my grandfather. I am still worried about my Monday tuition homework, but as the Chinese saying " chuan dao qiao tao zi ran zhi" . But i think that this would not apply for my upcoming common test on the 1st April, must work hard for this test. As for my CCA, i must presever on, even though i heard that this year GOH contigent would be NCC, but there is always next year right =D.I think that is all for today see u. (would reach Singapore today in the evening)

Stressed!!

After March holidays, so many events coming up. Tomorrow I am going to Melaka to pay my respect to my ancestors there, this would mean that i would have to rush out my chinese tuition homeowrk on monday within the 1 hour (not sure can anot). Today went to school, during maths lessons, although i understand what is taught, but I am sure that many do not, as algebra can be quite tough for some, and i am not a good teacher in maths. In the afternoon went for NPCC, sec 2,3 and 4s combine squad. during drill pratice, sir desmond went to chong wee and said something very funny, he laughed till he dropped.. the worst part came, we were told that on 18th april there was speech day parade and NPAP in the afternoon, starting from next week there would be training on wednesday, this clashes with common test man haiz wat badb luck.
Today i also found out what happen to the woman who die at Clementi MRT station, i mention in my last post. when the train entered the staton, it broke the elderly head and right hand. why did she have to died this way, it was such a gruesome death. Her family was also quite rich, i read they lived in a semi-detact. Her family did not want to have the interview when the reporters when to their house.
last thing for the day, TOMORROW is Earth hour, do your part of saving mother Earth by offing all/ as many lights as possible. Well that is all for now ta ta

What an unlucky day!!

Woah today, i went to the MRT station as usual, and reached there at 6.12am. Quite happy that I was able to catch the train. then at 6.15am, the train drive into the station, out of nowhere, a group of people started shouting for the train driver to stop. After a few moments, I found out that someone had fell onto the train tracks. as for what later happen I don't know. Tried to call home, don't know who did not place the house phone properly and could not contact mummy and daddy, had to walk all the way home from the MRT station.

I reached school at 7, had a terrible stomachache this morning. I thought at least my classmates could do was help me take the class key, but no one took it, this made me quite disappointed, how could be classmates be this kind of people. Had a terrible stomacheache for the rest of the day. After school still have to tolerate some bastards, did not want to get in trouble with ms R. Lim again.
Well I think that is all for my unlucky day bye for now/.

Buddhism

To refrain from taking life The five precepts are training rules in order to live a better life in which one is happy, without worries, and can meditate well
1.(non-violence towards sentient life forms)
2. To refrain from taking that which is not given (not committing theft)
3. To refrain from sensual (including sexual) misconduct
4. To refrain from lying (speaking truth always)
5. To refrain from intoxicants which lead to loss of mindfulness (specifically, drugs and alcohol)
In the eight precepts, the third precept on sexual misconduct is made more strict, and becomes a precept of celibacy. The three additional precepts are:
6. To refrain from eating at the wrong time (only eat from sunrise to noon)
7. To refrain from dancing and playing music, wearing jewelry and cosmetics, attending shows and other performances
8. To refrain from using high or luxurious seats and bedding Buddhist meditation is fundamentally Buddhist meditation is fundamentally concerned with two themes: transforming the mind and using it to explore itself and other phenomena.

A review of scientific studies identified relaxation, concentration, an altered state of awareness, a suspension of logical thought and the maintenance of a self-observing attitude as the behavioral components of meditation;[5] it is accompanied by a host of biochemical and physical changes in the body that alter metabolism, heart rate, respiration, blood pressure and brain chemistry.[48] Meditation has been used in clinical settings as a method of stress and pain reduction. Meditation has also been studied specifically for its affects on stress.

While I have learn lots of things these few weeks,I learn that we should not judge a book by it's cover.(i am sure everyones know that)But today i really understand it's meaning.I have a friend who is always quite bossy, and i really did not like her attitude, but on an excersion i found out that she can be really gentle, nice, and have good leardership skills. (felt quite remorseful for not giving her a chance last time)
