Closer & closer

SLC is this friday, which kindda sucks. Sometimes i come into a dilemma between hardline discipline and team dynamics. Although discipline is the basic quality for a leader to posses but someimes isn't the discipline abit too much. It has crossed the line. It may work on some but it requires a long term enforcement of it like NS which is 2 years. I guess establishing a bond and mutual respect is a substitute for discipline. As this can be established over a period which causes the campers to know when is fun time and when is serious time.

The basis of Team Dynamics. But i wonder what is this bond doesn't improve the group. Is it because that we are not guiding them well or that my batch doesn't interact much with them? Should we learn from Explorers and attached each senior to a or some juniors so ask to guide them better? Thus we do not need to resort to hardline discipline? Questions to consider.

Are these camps producing leaders of the future or are we jus attending it for not much of a reason? Giving the organisers a chance to prove that they can plan a event?
