At 0645h went to take the train to Jurong East to pass my "spy manual" to Wei Jun.

After that went home and started on my homework. Now I know why Clementi Town was good in maths, their paper was filled with demoralising and brain-hacking questions arggh.............., really got on my nerves for a while =X.

At 1500h watch Air Crash investigation on National geography Channel. Today's episode was about China airlines flight 611 (a Boeing 747 plane). The plane was flying from Taiwan to Hong Kong after flying for 25 mins the plane structure broke up at an altitude of 35 000 ft near Pengu island. Almost 1000 peole took part in the rescue but all were dead including a Singaporean.

Initially there were 2 theories to tthe crash 1) Hit by a missile 2)A delibrate bomb attack, but no evidence found was able to prove it.

Finally, the cause was found which was link to something that happen 22 years ago!!! Can you believe it, I was like WOW when they said it.That year while plane was landing its tail scratch against the runway causing scratchies. However China airlines instead of following Beoing procedures they just smoothe the metal part and cover it with another piece of metal. Then it claim that everything was fine.

However there was a crack in the metal, everytime the plane took off & landed the crack grew bigger. As we know when the plane takes off the pressure in the plane pushes against the walls, when the pressure became too large for the metal piece that covered the crack it broke apart. China airlines mantaineers weren't able to identify the problem lead to this tragic incident.
